Psalm 121
- I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
- My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
- He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
- Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
- The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
- The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
- The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
- The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
At roughly 3:27ish in the video I heard read verse six. This is not a new scripture to me but it was made new today. Thank God.
2 Corinthians 10:3-10 KJV
Now she highlighted verse five and while she was highlighting it verse six was sticking out and being refreshed and molded in my mind. I felt the anger and bitterness that wants to take over my heart and cause me to lash out at people around me, or any other thing I tend to gravitate toward.. and there are plenty of ways I disobey. That anger was fueled in the truth that I can punish my disobedience when I bring every thought into captivity.
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
Ephesians 4:26 KJV
We are to be angry.. but correctly. Anger seems to me to be a motivation and fuel to and for action. When this action is guided and even inhabited by a spirit other than God its reward will be something other than God. Am I understanding this correctly? It is in service to some other spirit.
We will see where this goes but I do want to put this into practice and see what God does in my life.
Thanks Grace for Purpose for Putting that video out and Thank You God for pointing it out to me.
